Crosswinds Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Get warm with a nice winter soup!
Ingredients
- (2 C) Cooked Chicken (shredded or chunked)
- (4 C) Chicken Broth
- (1 C) Water
- (1 C) Chopped Carrots
- (2) Garlic Cloved (Chopped)
- (1) Medium Onion (Chopped)
- (2 Tbsp) Butter or Olive Oil
- (1 C) Wild Rice (uncooked)
- (1 C) Crosswinds Whole Milk or substitute
- (1 Tbsp) Dried Rosemary
- (1 Tbsp) Salt
- (1 tsp) Lemon Pepper
- (1 tsp) Pepper
Directions
In a deep soup pot or dutch oven, cook the veggies in the butter until the onion is soft and translucent (the carrots will finish cooking in the soup). Add the broth and water, the chicken and the wild rice and simmer covered for 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in cream. Add rosemary, lemon pepper, salt, and pepper and serve with your favorite crusty bread.
