Whole Pork Deposit
Enjoy our best price and fill your freezer with a secure supply of local pork. Born and raised on our farm, our pigs are rotated in our pastures and provided with shelter. They feast on whey, a by-product of cheesemaking, which produces extra tasty pork! We also provide our pigs with local, all-natural grains and hay.
A $200 deposit reserves your Crosswinds Farm & Creamery pig for processing in September 2024. The final cost of a Whole Pig is $750, which includes processing costs. Your $200 deposit will be applied to this final cost.

How does a Whole Pig order work?
A $200 deposit reserves your Whole Pig for processing. We’ll pick up your meat from the processor and contact you to schedule the fulfillment of your order. As we are reserving a pig for you, deposits are non-refundable. Your order will arrive frozen in labeled, vacuum-sealed packages from our processor.
What kinds of cuts are included?
Your pig is custom processed for your order, so you have choices!
- Loin: cut as bone-in chops, boneless chops & whole tenderloin, or roasts
- Shoulder: butt and/or picnic roasts, or steaks
- Ribs!
- Ham: roasts and/or steaks, smoked or fresh
- Belly: fresh pork belly or smoked bacon, whole or sliced
- Grind: fresh ground pork, mild, hot, or breakfast sausage. (Any section above can be ground to give you more sausage!)
- You can also get jowl, hocks, heart, tongue, liver and lard if you'd like
After you place your pre-order, you’ll fill out our Pork Cut Sheet with your processing choices. We are happy to help you make your selections!
How much will a Whole Pig cost?
Our Whole Pig pricing is a simple fixed price of $750, including processing.
How much meat will I receive?
The average live weight of a Whole Pig is 250 lb, which gives you approximately 125 lb of finished meat.
For how long will a Whole Pig feed my family?
A Whole Pig purchase provides an estimated 500 individual 4 oz servings.
For a family of 4: Enjoy 4-6 meals with pork per week for 6 months. Or 2-3 meals per week for a year.
For a family of 2: Enjoy 4-5 meals with pork per week for a year.

Can I get my order sooner than the estimated date?
